Women United For A New Life, Mujeres Unidad Para Una Nueva Vida

NOTE: The Mujeres Unidas Program is an extension of the incredible work of the New Life Men’s program and follows the same model of care in partnership with the Hampden County Women’s correctional facility.
Women United for a New Life is committed to empowering Black and Latina women, as well as non-binary individuals aged 18 and older, who have been impacted by incarceration and substance use disorders. The programs mission is to support the journey toward recovery and reintegration by providing compassionate, comprehensive, care coordination services. These include assistance with substance use recovery, vocational training, educational advancement, family support, women’s health, mental health and resources for those affected by intimate partner violence. Through education, guidance, and community-based support, the program strives to help individuals lead healthier, more fulfilling lives and build a foundation for long-term recovery and wellness.
