The Deb Hunt center provides a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where individuals can access health, prevention, and recovery support services without stigma. The center’s approach underscores meeting individuals where they are, honoring self-autonomy, and encouraging informed decision-making to enhance overall well-being and improve quality of life. We provide a range of services, including HIV, Hepatitis C, and STI testing and counseling, psycho educational groups, risk reduction and overdose prevention interventions. Additionally, outreach engagement specialist perform screening to appropriately connect participants with supportive linkages and referrals which include behavioral health and SUD care, housing, transportation, and food insecurity among others.
The program distributes Naloxone (Narcan) and other harm reduction supplies, while serving as a central hub for community engagement, skill-building, and access to vital resources. Through close collaboration with community partners and advocates, we ensure timely, seamless connections and warm handoffs to life changing care.
