Child Care Center Cook
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have & maintain a ServSafe® certification
- Knowledge of writing children’s menus
- Keep up to date children’s allergy lists
- Prepare and distribution of meals to all classrooms
- Add meal times and temperatures
- Ensure safety of food dates
- Maintain a freezer and refrigerator temperature log & maintain a temperature log for all prepared food as it comes into the center or go out to classrooms
- Create a weekly order of all supplies and provide to the director and order once approved
- Maintain inventory control and stock rotation
- Prepare all bleach bottles daily according to EEC regulations
- Perform the sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and kitchen equipment
- Maintain good attendance record in accordance with our NNCC attendance policy
- Maintain sanitation log
- Sanitize/Mop/Sweep daily kitchen
- Maintain and update supplies and materials for program
- Attend training and workshops as identified by the administration of NNCC
- Upon request, assist in classrooms/Substitute when needed
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of food preparation experience preferred
